Challenges

  • Businesses in the UAE are generally restricted in their network choice dependent on their physical location. If they have multiple offices or branches this has traditionally resulted in an enterprise requiring two MPLS networks and then connecting them both together. 
  • MPLS networks are cumbersome to manage, expensive to install and run and provide very little visibility of the applications running on the network
  • Connecting two circuits and then providing an MPLS connection to Azure is prohibitively expensive and would have forced Al Ghandi Group to abandon the cloud migration project
  • SAP are moving away from support for on premise ERP systems by 2027 and Al Ghandi Auto Group were keen to future proof the business and take advantage of more flexible network options
